I only watched a bit of it myself so I couldn't say mate. I notice Hoddle was also a bit critical of Barkley in the highlights package tonight - apparently RB should have been orchestrating a pressing game higher up the pitch. No idea how he came to that conclusion.

he had no chance with the midfield around him, and Kane, who i like as a player seemed to be running across him, instead of going into space,
only a friendly , but we don't seem to have a system to work to just random players put out, midfielders playing roles there not used to ect.

Hodgson is not an England manager, he is a man you bring in to stave of regulation if you can't get Pullis or Big Sam.

The defence didn't move 1 yard past our own 18 yard box.

No plan, no tactics other than to hold on. Twice Ross had runs on goal and both times he screwed piss poor efforts wide but he got into that position where he's running with the ball facing goal which makes him a danger. A half arsed Barkley is infinitely better than the rest of the midfield that was on show last night.
