I must admit I didn't know much about Sigurðsson before I started following Everton. I want to like the guy because it seems like he was a considerable investment for the club. I believe that Everton needs another creative midfielder who can play along with James to create opportunities up-front. While Gomes played poorly last game, at least we could see all his bad passes because he got to the ball. Sigurðsson came in, and I doubt if I saw him touch the ball two or three times. From the games I have seen with him, he tends to pass back a lot, which slows the team. I believe that this is his first game starting with James, so it might help with their chemistry. ¡VAMOS EVERTON!
