Gomes is a tough one he either completely bosses the game or is totally anonymous and you can tell within the first 5 minutes which it's going to be..

That’s his problem isn’t it? He’s just too inconsistent. He’ll have two decent games, get injured, miss two games, come back have a crap game, gets benched, starts next game plays well for next two and then rinse and repeat.

Not got that much of an issue with Sigurdsson coming in for Gomes who’s been horrendous, but I think it is probably time the captains armband was removed from him permanently.
