Phew , hard work that but a win is a win. At times we lack fluidity moving forward , yet we have the players but they’re only doing it in brief flashes . I thought Schneiderlin looked off the pace a bit , Holgate my MoM , followed by Davies.

A very strange game. The first half Southampton played like a struggling team playing away and desperate to avoid getting beaten by a cricket score, even after going a goal behind. We struggled, as usual, to get through a packed defense. The start of the second half was so predictable with Southampton on the front foot and getting the oh so predictable equaliser. However we overcame them in the end and were the better side throughout. Tom Davies was MoM for me and is getting better with every game. At last an away win to celebrate and the confidence it should bring to the team.

A confident team in form get that 2nd goal first half.

A team that hjas been struggling but is just strating to find its feet a bit more doesn't.

Had we been on a good run we'd of won 3-0 today.

Take the win, enjoy it with a semi-decent performance for the most part. Also enjoy that we got pegged back, held it out a bit and settled ourselves.
Can’t argue with your points. We had games this season where we should of won the game by half time. I hope to see that soon, totally controlled the game yes against poor team, but both teams under a lot of pressure.

December will be fun.
We will be all over the place.
I don't care if the rest of the game is just us kicking the balls out of the stadium, just win the thing PLEASE
Sad to share the same feeling, this is the standard we are accepting nowadays.
I loathe him anyway. He’s embarrassing
Amazingly he scores sometimes and that makes me more tolerant, but dives and dramatic acting should be embarrassing for any professional player.
We were crap. Let’s not split hairs here. We played crap against the worst team in the league and won.
As you said latter the striking fact that this is quite expensive team.
Phew. Once again making a real struggle of a game that we should have coasted though.
Excellent win, though Everton been Everton making this game so much hard work when they should have been way ahead
Lads let us forget about "should have been" and all this stuff. Didn't you know from past experience(sadly for quite a long time) that this game will be a real struggle? Let's be realistic and enjoy the win. By the way, we were first time lucky enough for not been VARed, Mina's foul was a penalty.
Hope we kick on from that. Battered them first half, our fragile mentality crept back in after half time but we got it over the line.
We battered them first half because Saints were really woeful. As soon as they added a little bit of fighting we've conceded immediately.

Next game I expect Iwobi to start over Sigurdsson, Delph over Schneiderlin and Calvert Lewin over Tosun.

That header Tosun put 10 yards over from 5 yards out was absolutely woeful.

Living in the moment with the win. Thankful. Amazing since the three snails all lined up today. Tosun by far the slowest. Siggy and Snides culprit for their goal well you watched it. Next year all three needs replacing. The wind will blow hot and cold until we do.
