To be fair 2-0 isn't that bad a result considering we've played the whole game without a midfield. Gana is great at many things, positional play is not one of those things. Lots of work to be done.

Three gifted goals by Palace to hand Liverpool the win today. Shocking.

The title is theirs.

Since Moshiri came in we´ve bought 1 striker (Tosun) and sold 1 (Lukaku).

Maybe playing buying and playing an actual premier league striker would help.

Heres a shocking thought: what if it is Silva's system that's making them crap?
Oh don't get me wrong, how we're playing isn't helping as it's very sterile and predictable. Yet, we played in a similar formation earlier in the season and it worked.

Someone alluded to it before, however I'm not sure if the players are really performing for Silva which may be out choice because they're certainly not helping him.

I am not exonerating Silva if that's how it came across as I have some growing concerns, but I don't believe that the players are playing anywhere near their best.

Genuine question: when was the last time (bar against an awful Burnley) have more than a couple of our players performed well in a match?

For all the criticism of Silva and his system, we're not going to regularly win matches unless more than half of our players actually play relatively well.

They keep reminding us that our squad is massive yet he plays the same team every week. If the players aren’t performing give someone else a go.

Just woke up...and seeing the score line, I won’t be turning on the telly. It appears ALL post -AGM optimism has dissipated and normal Everton transmission has been resumed.
It appears that there is too many tofu items on the FF cafeteria menu...

I’m disappointed...but unsurprised. It’s just Everton being Everton

Southampton have won just 1 out of the last 10 home games before today. You can always count on Everton to help a team on that count. We are absolute crud and nowhere near the best of the rest. Closer to the worst of the rest going off the past 2 months form.

Silva's just not a very good manager, is he. Can't see it improving for him either, hasn't shown he's capable of picking up a team that's going through a bad run.

Who else could we get in though?
