Probably going to get ignored, but my thoughts.

Howard looked like he was back to his best today. The save with his legs was the turning point for me, from their corner we countered quickly and were up 1-0. His save against Mane was also great, and he seemed to command his area brilliantly.

Galloway at left back had a shaky start, but as the game went on he grew with confidence. He's by no means a wingback, but as a old-fashioned fullback he can fill in no problem.

Jagielka was superb at commanding the back 4. He didn't shut up all game, and dealt with the Saints' front 4 brilliantly.

Stones' best game for us, by far.

Coleman, had a few shaky moments - but offered so much in attack.

Barry helped calm things down in our back four.

Barkley, Clevs and McCarthy worked their socks off. Barkley's confidence is back, and he tried to make something happen whenever he had the ball.

Kone is our sweet beautiful Ivorian prince.

Lukaku is a beast.

Thank you Everton. Should have had a celebration these past few days with my wedding anniversary and birthday, but my dad was diagnosed with cancer on thursday. Haven't had much solice recently so the result and performance will give my family a lift.

All the very best to you and all your family mate.

Me mar was dealing with the same the pasrt few months, keep positive, medicine these days people stand agood chance of beating it.

I don't want to take anything away from the team's performance today but it can't be coincidence that I went to the game last season and they lost 3-0, didn't go today and they win 3-0!!!

No need to thank me! :)

Any chance you can stay away permanently then :):):)

Whoever comes in will have to wait their turn to get into the first team, as non of todays players deserve to be dropped. I thought roberto swapped and changed to much last season.

I meant to put this in the transfer thread
