That Howard save with his legs was the turning point for me, once we got that breakaway goal we were in charge despite ceding possession and territory against a good team. .

If that would of gone in be a different story right now, i think we had been good up until then anyway but we never let them get into the game from the start, as good an away performance i can recall under Martinez

What a performance! It was great to see Barkley moving deep to make things happen, and there is some kind of kinetic understanding between Rom and Kone, they link together really well.

Martinez got it spot on tactically. He showed excellent pragmatism with his defensive attitude in the second half. We needed that.
