to be fair i am very happy with our squad we have good back up players now something we have not had for along time if peanuts and arteta sign i think we will do boss sounds strange but us not being in any Europa League games will do us the world of good this season lets just have a good go at the leauge and i think we will surprise alot of people

This is it , see ???

Had something in their collective eye . Went to wash it out . In the interim we declared War on the Nazis , then fought it , then had V.E. Day .

Then , they came back .
( I need to get me head down . Gonna do , any minute . )

LCAB-run for your life, you're too valuable; I'll cover you, will fight these sugar-daddy havin' muckas...

My only requests:
1. Tell my mother I love her
2. Promise to pass along any hot EFC news to the soon to be mother of my child, & carry on the legacy w/ my precious firstborn; PM's, emails, texts, messages in bottles-the total package

*disclaimer*-don't really have baby mama (or soon to be for that matter) but just didn't have same kick w/o that part

Cheers , lads .

( I was right , then ,....)

Don't think its fair to name anyone after a pretty chronic TV programme.

Apologies to our younger viewers who won't know what that was

El Cid - was a CLASSIC and I mean CLASSIC movie based on the historical epic staring Charlton Heston.

Chronic?

Do me a favour.

Thats why LCAB is El Cid. He doesn't do chronic.

Oh fair enough.

I think the fact the snides are chasing El Cid round the internet says it all.

He's a different class though.

Tbh as you no doubt know yourself there's only a handful across the the net on blues forum's that 'know'

pure jealously when they requote on other forums pulling the clearly correct info to bits

Neville's comments on the sky sports website don't fill me with any great confidence. Talking about the grass isn't always greener on the other side etc. etc. He didn't look at all confident about either of them staying or it could just be a clever ploy by the club captain, to reiterate if you stay with us and the squad we have we can go places as a club, whereby he is putting pressure on the players to sign new contracts. The question however needs to be asked how much longer can we give these players to make up their minds, as we don't want to be losing either of them late in the transfer window with little time to find a suitable replacement.

Who ???

Arteta and Pienaar ???

Peanut was uny back y'day , so that should be clearer by next week . Mikel , as you are aware , has 2 years left , so , in principle , there is no hurry .

All will become clear imminently .

Thanks LCAB, I have for some reason become obsessed with this forum and waiting for news (good or bad), at least (hopefully) the end is in sight, one way or another I can start to get some actual work done, roll on Sept 1st.

All I am worried about is that we don't have another situation like last season when we only have a limited time to sign replacements, if we get the dreaded news that they won't sign new contracts and want out. Of course I am not suggesting for one minute either Piennar or Arteta would do a Lescott on us and put in a transfer request on the eve of the season, they are too professional for that and have respect for the club and its fans. But I will bow to your superior knowledge and hope by next week like all our support that the situation will be clarified.

I still think Pienaar will stay and Tets will go. Pienaar will just let is contract run down
