Some of these young lads

The same could be said of Victor Anichebe, who surprised everyone and developed very quickly over a short period of time. He was on the verge of being let go.

But Kieran Agard is twenty, two to three years older than Victor Anichebe in a similar situation. If what you say is true.

Ian Wright was mid 20's when he broke through.

Didnt Agard sign a two year deal quite recently.

Indeed, but Ian Wright wasn't playing at a Premier League club, he was playing Sunday League football. It was more a case of him not being given a chance or not being picked up.

Agard is at a Premier League club and he's being watched in training and during games all the time, his ability is being compared to those around him, in the reserve team and at first team level.

He's 20 now, it's make or break for him. I'm not saying he won't make it, but he's at an age where players either break through or are let go.

I was a bit iffy on?

Sorry mate, I don't really understand what you mean.

 I meant if the management team we're a bit iffy on him being a player, offering him a contract - two years wouldnt really indicate it. Surely if they were wondering wheather to keep him or not he would have only of earned a one year deal.

I couldn't say to be honest, I didn't even know he was about to be let go. But Anichebe was in a similar situation, he upped his game and was offered a decent contract.

I'm sure it was a two year deal. I could be wrong though.

Thought it was very obvious last night that Young Duffy has a big future with us, Coleman and Baxter as well.

I dont know but i would think Bidwell was playing well out of position looked very uncomfortable at full back, but a huge lad for 16 - liked some of his stuff!

*Carlo Nash is ace!

A lot of progress needed for them to make first team players. Akpan in particular looked very nervy. Misplaced a lot of passes. It will be interesting to see how they push on now they've been given their debuts.

TBH mate not many will make it, its a bit like watching baby turtles struggle across a beach, most get picked off before they make the water.
