But Man Utd will never be anything until the egos go, the money they’ve spent too.

Think of all the players that threw a fit while SAF was there, they got moved on. Now the manager is being moved on, the tail is wagging the dog.

That is not to say Mourinho moaning about the quality of his squad was helpful but there must be a happy medium somewhere.

Pochettino or Solskjaer?

I know United opted for Solskjaer and in fairness maybe, just maybe they may not have been able to get Pochettino If they had really, really threw everything at it, but doesn't that same question keep coming back - and how hard did they really try?

Giving in to the fans and media campaign and making the appointment permanent was easy, but no matter how well Olé had done over less than three months of a single season, it doesn't even remotely come close to Pochettino - there was no comparison in ability or what they both might bring.

Solskjaer is looking like a huge risk, and although it shouldn't matter, the fact the vastly extended and brilliantly succesful honeymoon has now ended, makes it look an even worse decision with every passing week.

I´d have both down as manager of the season contenders if they can drop some points over the next week.

They set a precedent with Moyes and now the nutters are running the asylum

They just want a cheap yes man - that’s how Moyes got the job. They thought he would be pliable, but he ended up being more aggressive than bargained for and the senior players flipped their lids.

Then they got another disciplinarian in LVG, but they hated his style of football, and many of big name signings ended up flopping (Di Maria, Falcao).

Fact is, Jones and the other clown should have been replaced years ago, but are currently the first choice defensive pairing, speaks volumes.

If the Europa League final is Arsenal Chelsea, means one of them is certain for the CL via this route, wonder how this might effect the race for 4th?
Like if Arsenal come 4th and win the EL will Chelsea get into it as runners up?
Or if United come 4th and those two play the final, will it mean United are out regardless?

no 5 would go from what I've heard. Europa winners go directly into the group stage. If you've already qualified for the C-league via your league position like athletico did then an extra spot goes to the 5th ranked league (lyon)

My head hurts.
