Sod 'em

Dont be daft.

Who is going to turn up with any fire in their belly? Coleman will. Then after that Rooney, but his legs are dust and can't carry him from A to B so it won't count for anything. That's it. Every single one of their players will put everything in for 90 minutes and our players won't have time to think before they've been pounced on and had the ball taken off them.

They’ve not yet secured fourth (no matter how much they’re prematurely celebrating). Even a draw would be damaging for them. We need to make them earn it. I don’t care if we give it a go and get shafted by a ref, that’s happened loads, I can’t forgive complete non performances though.

They'd need to lose 4 of their remaining 6 games for Chelsea to catch them. They haven't lost 4 all season. They've secured 4th.

We won’t even get the ball. Can and Lucas absolutely dominated Gueye and Davies at Anfield last season, we could barely touch them at Anfield this season. Our midfield is complete trash and they have athletic yarddogs pumped up to run marathons by Klopp’s training. They’re horrible footballers but it works.

Davies will. Pickford will (I hope). Tosun will.

winning or losing against the R/S handle the same as any other team - an interesting concept of reverse psychology

But its not for me or in my lifetime

IMO its the part of being an Evertonian that makes us special it shows them the passion we have for our team , how we much we despise them no matter how much stick I get somehow I get to give it back in their faces

I am a realist regarding most things in life apart from Everton were I have to admit I have more than couple screws loose therefore I am an eternal optimist its the only option for me to handle supporting EFC

However I have been able with age to handle the Derby defeats better , with the dreadful run against them have become somewhat bullet proof , but I want to win this next game more than anything and I believe we can :hayee:

Have argued this for a while now. I just don't care about the game and as others have rightly said, the club don't care either about losing this game so much.

It used to be about pride , the one game where even if we we're fighting relegation we could take pride from a win and have our heads held high all week. Thanks to the club, even if we do win it means nothing and will be greeted with laughter and Mickey taking from them lot. Once you get to that point then it's hard to return from it, which makes the game meaningless these days .

I take your point but make no mistake if we sneak a win tomorrow (which I hope we do) I will be right in their faces celebrating. In the pubs and bars afterwards I will gleefully emphasise to any RS foolish enough to cross my path that we just beat them with Allardyce in charge, so how rubbish must they ,in reality, be.? Ha Ha.
But when I awake on Sunday and the dust has settled I will still be faced with the prospect of the future under uninspired leadership, whose main aim is survival and the probability of watching a team festooned with aging pro's belabour the route to safety amid a plethora of hard fought draws and expected defeats.

Logically, there’s not going to be a better chance to beat them, and there probably hasn’t been in years. If we’re honest this game is a mild inconvenience for them and a chance to give some players a run out- they have bigger things to worry about. Not a chance there best players will be playing. Unfortunately for us we don’t have a manager capable of capitalising on these things or capable of seizing the moment. If we were actually capable of playing some decent attacking football and not withering into our defensive shell then we could probably get a victory. And whilst it’s still only three points for a win at least the embarrassing winless streak would come to an end.

Press press press them- the total opposite to the passive approach we saw at city last Saturday. Maybe Sam will surprise us all and go for it.

Everton fans are empirical, unlike the extreme delusion of Cult FC fans, they go on what's presented to them, which in the past 20 years or whatever has been Liverpool getting all of the luck and beating us time after time after time, which hurts, local rivals or not. I'd love to just say 'sod em', but I can't help being nervous and caring more about this game, it's inherent and unavoidable.
