Well at the moment I would play Pienaar, Fellaini, Heitinger, Rodwell and Billy.

This is a point like, but the only way we carried that off last season was because of Arteta.

And if any of those guys got injured, we'd be screwed

re cahill, for me he has never been a midfielder and should be played only up front as a second striker. This is how Hiddink plyed him for australia and i find it hard to see why moyes has played in midfield before. Same with fellaini for me..£15m? dear oh dear

ALLAH ACHBAR

I was thinking the other day, players like Jo and Lucas, both capped for Brazil, both 2 of the worst footballers walking this fine earth. I reckon the Brazilian FA must sell them Caps. Then take bank handers.

Just a thought folks, cos if Jo and Lucas can play for Brazil, so can me Nan.

i'd have jo carbon tested to prove he's brazilian, there have been some dodgy passport dealings where brazilians have turned up with european passports, i think we've found one that did the swap the other way. his real name is edu.
i found this whilst researching it and it does beg that a question be asked.....
Agent reveals passport source - News & Comment, Football - The Independent

Afonso Martins Costa Filho told a Congressional commission of inquiry here yesterday how two Portuguese officials supplied the Portuguese passports to help two players, Jeda and Dede, complete a move to the Italian club Vicenza last year. The pair are believed to among hundreds of players from third-world countries who have used false documents to help them break into the European game.
Martins, known in Europe as Jimmy Martins, said he had met the two officials in Spain

Mad on here lately.

True, but this has been one of the weirdest seasons I have ever had to endure.

We have very good fit players, but appear to be shocking at the moment.

We have had the worse injury year in living memory.

So a little bit of madness is only viable because of how 2009 has been.

Woozawazzle?

Aye, no need for everyone to be at everyones throats though. That's just whopperism.

I note the irony like.

I'm not at anyone's throats really. Just don't like being patronised. My opinion has the same value as anyone else's. I don't need to be told how to think. That's a fair comment I think - I said it and we can move on.

Ghost, how is the Yak supposed to get fit if we don't play him because he's not 100%? It's a catch-22 but it's also widely accepted that there's fit and match fit, as nothing can push you as much as a first team match.

I also think his injury plays a bit on his mind, hence the "limping"...you don't want to spend 9+ months out and then go full-on and tear it again and I'm sure the club don't want that either. It's a psychological battle as well as physical; there's going to be some subconscious hesitancy in his game for a while, unfortunately.

Have to agree with most though that a 75% Yak is better than all of our forwards at 100%, bar Saha.

It was a general comment aimed at everyone mate, don't take umbrage.

Edit; Is that the first time that words has been used on here, surely?
