It would be interesting to know how many of those empty seats were no-shows and had actually been sold. If they were no-shows then how many were season ticket holders unable to make the rearranged date or whatever.

If the club feels they can sell all seats on a match by match basis they may consider reducing the number of season ticket holders to increase revenue.

The resale site has had lots of availability for several games this season. Of course we had a glut of live Monday games and home form hasn't been great, but claims of high surplus demand and 30k waiting lists etc don't seem to tally.
