So, which players will be following him out of the door........

I find it astonishing that as a match watching fan you can see potential issues in players, and yet an individual payed £6m a year, who is a supposed football expert, cannot. Klaassen has no pace, energy or strength and yet was considered a worthy high priced purchase to block the first team path of Davies and indeed others such as Baningime.

One of the most bizarre transfers in our history.
Worked £24M his old club's way. That was the only benefit to come out of that deal. Not for Everton, obviously.

Anyone looking at the player could see he was unsuited to this league. He is what he is: a player that suits the Ajax system of a high churning over of the ball with little initiative or dynamism.

He's a good player but so far the transfer hasn't worked out, of course.

Maybe the fit was never right, though there's still time for that to change.

He works hard, he presses, he moves the ball quickly. Half of his issues stem from playing one-two passes with people who aren't on the same wavelength.

He should have been given time, like Sandro, to bed in and get some minutes in the U23s and in training. Ease them in gently using the Europa games. That didn't happen and we're left with a player shot of confidence.

Arguably our best player for various games last season, when he/we were playing well, now, as we are all crap again...surprise surprise...his form has also dipped and you decide he is crap again. Have you not noticed the way our team has been playing?

I look forward to him playing well again and you "piping down" your obsession.
No, no, no. I never said he was our star performer last season YOU stated that. So how can my consistent position that he's decent or average throughout the whole time he was here (and before he signed) have shifted to make me look like a hypocrite?

What you are claiming is illogical.

You got it wrong on Schneiderlin and that makes you look silly not me.

Summer:

Klaassen: Had the Dutch connection with Koeman. But has shown nothing to suggest he can perform in this league and even if he manages to turn it round, his game seems to be about 5-10 yard passes and keeping possession. We have several players who can do that and should be the bare minimum for any midfield player. Shouldn't be anywhere near the team while the team's form is bad.

Robles or Stekelenburg: One of them will be moved on, probably Robles if he has any ambition to play regularly.

Niasse: He has earned a lot of deserved credit for his attitude, but the new manager will probably try and get about £10m for him.

Besic: Just not worked out for him

Unsure:

Sandro, McCarthy, Mirallas, Lennon, Jagielka, Barkley

Reckon they will stay for a season or two

Baines - backup left back with experience
Williams - backup centre back with experience
Martina - backup full back who can 'play' left or right back if needed
Sigurdsson - Could come good so may not even be sold after a season or two. Unlike Sandro and Klaassen he has proven himself in this league already

I am not saying he is terrible, I just don't think he was a good purchase. Even if he finds his feet I would still argue that in Davies, Walsh and Baningime we have players developing who can offer similar/more.

Schniederlin and Sigurdsson are both excellent footballers who have been badly let down by the management team here.
I am intrigued to see how the games pan out in the coming months with a better managerial setup.

Schneiderlin and Sigurdsson and Klaassen have all been let down by the system, though aren't blameless either.

Same goes for the entire squad.

Koeman's set up may have been wrong and his tactics none-existent, but equally, he was right in saying he can't stop Williams from making a stupid error, or stop Rooney failing to make a simple 5 yard pass.

Williams needed replacing last January. Hence the constant postings of 'sign Keane/VVD'
Keane is a good player too but looks utterly horrendous currently, so it is very hard to truly judge just what we have.
We desperately need another CH, LB and a striker. I think the lack of these caused friction between Koeman and the board (culminating in the bizarre phone call on transfer deadline by Moshiri). I had a bad feeling then that things might unravel quickly. The team appears to have no direction and has got increasingly worse with each passing game.

Everyone talks about players not showing loyalty and look how quick people are to toss aside guys like Baines & Jags.

Jags I can understand as this will likely be his last year due to age but Bainesy can easily finish out his current contract and then move on.

Williams, Lennon, Cuco, Klaassen & Stek for me are the biggest ones who need moving on.

Yes, Klaassen already, awful player who was suited to his level at Ajax.
