So, which players will be following him out of the door........

As has been said, it will be interesting to see how some players now react. I think Unsy will get them playing, if he doesn’t then we’re screwed......

Like who? Keane, England CB and widely respected as top player, Pickford- England keeper and widely respected as top player, Siggy - still best dead ball player in League/Europe, Klaassen - definitely go back abroad for same money but agreed not working, Cuco - Free, Rooney - worth ten mill and our best player.
Bolasie
Klaassen
Schneiderlin
Williams
...and God knows what he's lumbered us with in Onyekuru.

Even leaving aside the last player, that's over £80M spent on mediocrity or worse. Then we'll see almost nothing back from Sigurdsson who, although a good player on his day, was a ridiculously overpriced purchase for someone who is basically a dead ball specialist.

I argued many times whilst that idiot was here that his spending would leave this club to repent at leisure once he'd gone - allowing him to shovel circa £100M into a furnace. That analysis is bang on as far as I'm concerned.

Love the fact you are STILL going on about this, you totally piped down when he was playing well, now he is finding it tough along with all our squad you are back on his case. Mate, he is a good player and was a good price, as will be seen when he is playing for a better manager.

Some of you need to wait and see how our players perform under a new manager before writing them off.

It happened under RM too, called "world beaters" by some when we are playing well, then, the wheels fall off and they are all "sh1te".

Rinse and repeat.

I’m with goat here.

We’ve some decent players that just need proper management.

Klaassen cant be coached pace, mate. It is king in the PL and he doesn't possess it.

Bolasie is what he always was: a nuisance on the wing with no end product. Good enough for a club like Palace but never making the step up from there.

Williams is just terrible. No need to expand....unlike his shorts.

Schneiderlin was the biggest scam of all time. Mourinho must have cracked ofen the champagne shifting an average player out for a huge fee after United had found out they couldn't use him.

I have no quarrel over Pickford (now, after a fashion!), or Kean. And certainly not Gueye. Ramirez and Lookman - jury still out.

Parkinson and Horne looked woeful until Royle came in. Within 12 months Joe Parkinson was the nearest thing to Roy Keane in the league.
Moyes took a total rabble from Smith and organised it into a competent side.

I will not judge them yet as they have had little direction.

I do think Klaassen is not suited to this league and I would expect Martina to disappear from the match day squad. But I hope they can prove me wrong.

I didn't mate. I thought his performances were perfunctory and not any reason for the insane gushing over them. He was as I always argued 'decent' as a player. This season he's shown he can be less than decent.

No piping down or up again for me on him.

I find it astonishing that as a match watching fan you can see potential issues in players, and yet an individual payed £6m a year, who is a supposed football expert, cannot. Klaassen has no pace, energy or strength and yet was considered a worthy high priced purchase to block the first team path of Davies and indeed others such as Baningime.

One of the most bizarre transfers in our history.

Arguably our best player for various games last season, when he/we were playing well, now, as we are all crap again...surprise surprise...his form has also dipped and you decide he is crap again. Have you not noticed the way our team has been playing?

I look forward to him playing well again and you "piping down" your obsession.

The first three you name there are all good players.

One of them has been injured for 10 months but gives us something nobody in this squad has - pace and strength.

Klaassen - it's been a dire start for him. Hopefully they can turn it around.

Schneiderlin - class last season and don't even start to rewrite history David. He's been crap this, just like the rest of them.

Onyekuru is currently playing well in an admittedly poor Anderlecht side, scoring 7 goals. He's 20 years old.
