I would be dissapointed and ashamed if we spent only 10 million on the deadline as it would mean that moyes had only the lescott money to spend and bk didn't do anything to help moysy out. It would also mean that bk knew that he didn't have any money to give to moyes and so they themselves made the most they could out of the lescott saga to get the money and all that talk of NOT SELLING lescott was rubbish therefore.

What I don't understand is why do we need to spend more than we recoup? Surely it's a better business if you spend less than you earn? Surely.
