Any suggestions?

I am at a complete loss as to who would be a realistic target. We have no money at all, and the only way we'll get any is if West Ham go mental and bid £10m for Saha.

Try Vaughany? Stick Cahill back up front? I honestly dont know.

And what worries me is, neither does Moyes.

Oh well, as i'm sure some rubbishy band once said, the only way is up. Let's not lose it yet, eh?

(Unless Saha starts next week, in which case, definately lose it)

I like the option with Cahill.. Can't seam to figure anything else.

Jimmy Vaughan is sadly made of glass, but he appears to be getting a few games and goals for Palace, personally I dont think hes the answer tho.

Errrr ; We usually INTRODUCE ourselves when we arrive ( return from self-imposed exile ; but let's NOT go THERE ,...)

Newbies , Dawg ,..

( Whispers to newbies ; THIS is 4 Legs . HE'S G.O.T. Royalty , BUT HE'S FROM THE LEASOWE ,...)

The worrying thing for me, is we have proven Premiership strikers.

Saha scored 15 goals last season, and Yakubus record when he plays and is confident speaks for itself. Cahill - no more needs to be said and throw Beckford into the equation who has proved when he gets an opportunity, he can kick that ball in the net.

Which suggests to me, it's a deeper managerial issue.

BOOOM! HEADSHOT!

Looks like I'm the only one who rates him quite highly.

I love the broken bones of the lad, there is nobody I want to see make it more than him, but ive given up hope, he has all the tools, but his main strength is his biggest weakness, hes fearless and his body cant handle it.

Plus hes so unlucky, hoping it changes tho.

I'd just like to see our current crop of strikers used properly.

Namely;

Yakubu played as an actual forward instead of a beefy target man to hit from 50 yards when nothing else is on.

Louis Saha encouraged to "goal hang" and sniff out goalscoring opportunities in and around the box like he's done successfully his entire career until he joined Everton.

Beckford used as part of a front two partnership, and given game time instead of 20-25 minute cameos in a struggling team. Either have faith in the lad or don't use him at all.

In short, David Moyes doesn't know how to use a striker, as he doesn't know how to play positive football.

Name one successful striker during Moyes' reign? The fact our star player is an attacking midfielder who scores from set pieces and raids from deep tells you everything.
