I think if there going to legalise it then they will have to Make some sort of safe standing area in grounds . Make safe standing in grounds which allow flares to be set then everyone is happy . People who want to set them of will have an area where other people who don't like them won't be sitting

Throwing a flare is never, ever going to be legal.

People forget that smokebombs are still a firework, and use a chemical reaction to to burn and let off the smoke. You only have to look at the Bradford City fire to see how dangerous something like that can potentially be.

For those who don't know of this, here's a link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7krsXDKrTqI I won't embed the video as its not something everyone would want to watch as its not easy too at times

Come on now, then, now, that fire and smoke bombs are not related and you know it.

Re-read the post, what i'm saying is its massively dangerous that people would want something that can potentially catch fire in an enclosed environment where there are large groups of people. All to would take was for one to go wrong, or light up someone's jacket etc. for another disaster to occur.

Yes or no? Think they look ace myself, add to the atmosphere etc. Hearing a few got arrested at Spurs for setting some off as well, which is an obvious risk.

No, it's for bellends! All for having a laugh!

Maybe a euro game v juve or something but a Sunday game v spurs?

I think anything up to and including an RPG should be legal.

Seen a derby in Bolivia and they were throwing hand grenades at each other, was mental!!!

I think smoke bombs are sound but not flares. I've got to admit it does look pretty boss when one goes off and I think it does add to the atmosphere as well. Every one has their own opinions though and the safety of others is key so I understand on that point
