I think we'll struggle to get beyond 6th or 7th with all the European fixtures and domestic cups. Even the best clubs can struggle if they're not used to European mid-week games. That said, I think if we can get back into Europe, go far in the Europa Cup and advance to the finals of a domestic cup, I'll be ecstatic. It may take another year for everything to gel together and make our dreams come true.

We still need 1 x CB 1 x LB 1 X CF If we can sign quality in these positions the top 4 is realistic. We have spent well, bought a mixture of ages and experience.
Look at the opposition

City....... ageing squad need major new signings, Yaya, Silva, Kompany, not the players they were, keeper, very dodgy
RS........ defensively woeful, Cutiniho, possibly going, need major investment
Chelsea.... Costa going, missed Lukaku, manager not happy
Spurs......... bottled it twice in 2 seasons, still a threat
Arsenal...... Sanchez and Ozil holding the club to ransom, Wenger on very thin ice, Giroud going ( to us hopefully)
Manure...... lost the Swede, lost Wazza, back four over rated, keeper still wants out

I banged that particular drum a few weeks back.

You missed out Spurs playing 38 away games as well. There is nothing in the clubs above us that, at the time of writing, we should be afraid of.

You also missed out Jose having a melt down.

Bringing so many new players in is exciting, but it also creates a problem of getting them to gel early enough so that we get a decent start to the season.

Yep. Koeman has been given the players, so far, although a few glaring gaps remain. (And I hope I am not the only one who sees us currently as Midfield Heavy), but trust the fullback and striker holes will be addressed.
