super 14 is underway so tbh apart from a bit of national sporting interest the six nations isn't even the best comp being played out at the moment. the mighty crusaders of canterbury took a beating this weekend but they'll come out top in the end, they nearly always do.
We havn't been that good now for 6 years. The last World Cup was a complete fluke. The team that went unbeaten in the southern hemisphare just prior to the 2003 WC had genuine class. This team are a useless bunch of overweight plodders. And will someone please banish the likes of Easter, Flood, Vickery, Tindall and Goode to the bin where they belong.
It's amazing looking back at the 2002 team and how dominant we were at the break down. Guys like Back and Hill were absolute masters at it and gave our backs excellent ball to work with. Now we lose pretty much every break down and end up fouling more often than not, hence why we have so many getting yellow carded. It's the same in both forms of rugby. Quick ruck = disorganised defence = chances. New Zealand are masters at it, St Helens likewise in RL. England on the other hand are bloody awful at it.

My heads in bits today. I thought England played well a lot better then i expected to be honest. If you keep faith with johnson theres amakings of a very good well rounded isde there.
