They are far too dangerous. Especially when you have these puddings in them. The risk of broken necks and head injuries should be a major concern.In fairness there’s s bit more to them than that, with the No 8, the scrum half, the fly half and the full back all potentially being part of an attacking move when the ball comes out., that’s if the scrum doesn’t collapse
In all seriousness, they’re incredibly dangerous if not taught properly too.
I understand and respect them but for me it’s pointless. Like you said, if they work, it can be used for such an advantage in an attacking sense. Majority end in penalties.
