I remember Coleman last year in a pre season friendly, I said then that he would come good. Pity as some one said Moyes keeps going for favourites and experience even if they are way off form. Moyes dislikes taking a chance unless it is forced. And what happened to Duffy, surely he was worth being around>

He is only 17 and did well in mid week.

You know, while I raved about Coleman, Duffy csotted into centre back in midweek, I forgot about Distin. Sorry Duffy lad, asured performance. As for Coleman, great performance today. Wish he could have kicked some of the others into gear.

To be fair to Moyes, Rob, he had him on the plane to the States in the summer and was already seeing him as a possible first teamer before the toe infection scuppered the plans. Maybe it was for the best though. He's had time to sit on the bench and soak some atmosphere up before getting on the pitch.

I'll say this for the lad, he appears to be fearless in that respect. Never looked phased even when it was going arse up for him stuck at LB away to Benfica. I think we have a talent on our hands. (y)

What's the chances he'll start next week? Chelsea, i think yer playin...

Well after the FA Cup final...

Like i said in the match thread, he was motm for me also. Great performance, full of skill, drive and passion. Stood up and was counted when it was needed, and was an example to some of our other players when it should have been the other way round. I'm sure Moyes will return the senior players back to the team for Chelsea if they are fit, but I would love to see him given more matches. Even leave Hibbo at CB sometimes, rather him there and Coleman than Neill at CB with Hibbo RB! :)
