Hopefully Landons cameo will teach the red one the sacrad art of having pace on the wings!

Nzogbia!!

I'm not keen on having Nzogbia at Everton

Whereas Donovan has had a good attitude. Nzogbia's is questionable.

If Donovan were 21. A £10million fee would probably be justified. But unfortunately he isn't 21.

And sadly enough, that's actually a higher salary for an average MLS player. I'll make an example about one player, Jhon Kennedy Hurtado, who made $36k last year. (what is that, about $25k pounds?). He was one of the best CB's in the MLS last year and made the MLS XI.... and he made about $25k pounds last year... for the whole year!!

Well Hurtado was a bit of an anomaly since he ended up coming to the Sounders on a recommendation by his buddy Montero. The Sounders signed up Hurtado at the minimum wage to see if he could cut and he proved to be fantastic.

The average wage for MLS players is $134k / year (89k pounds per year). If you don't count the development players and designated players (including Donovan) to get rid of the extremes the average salary in the MLS is $104k / year (69k pounds).

Nzogbia is going to be a top top player make no mistake mate, he would do well for us under Moyes, this i think is the right club for him.

Wouldnt mind Landon either but if it was a choice between the two id go for the Zog to be honest. At 23 hes going to be awsome.

$56k a year, does he also take a wage on top of that from the galaxy ? and endorsements, cos i know guys who have gone over there working in engineering trades that were creaming more than that, a mate who is a duaghtsman got $60k for 3 months work at Boeing.

Usually, non-top players share costs by sharing an apartment, carpooling, etcetera. And the endorsement market for MLS players is.. well. I don't want to say non-existent, but I think it says something when Landon's best well known commercial is the one he did for the lottery.... the Mexican lottery.

And some of you are saying it's a good league to play in ?
A bloke has to earn a living, so where does he get his corn from then ?
as i say, I could go over there on a work visa and not be far off those earnings, how can him going back even be considered, the buyout is surely a pittance in european terms.
The ones on sports scholarships to play in the college leagues can't be far behind the mls then, once the accomodation/ food are thrown in, with the added bonus of chicks with some greek letters above their doors ?
