I was walking back through the cemetery to my car and this came through from Landon, literally minutes after the final whistle had gone..and bare in mind it was 9.24am in Los Angeles. ( he musta watched the game on t.v there)

@landondonovan: Feed the Yak and he will score...Feed the Yak and he will score! Up the Toffees!!!!!!!!!!

9.24 in Seattle.... playoff match tomorrow vs Sounders. Pedantic, I know

The kid's so blue.... January can't come soon enough (stand on lcab )

He's a blue, isn't he? *feeling of warmth; fuzziness*

Did I , or DID I FUKN NOT , tell yous ???

Anichebe is better than Donovan.

Different kind of player.

I still think Moyes will turn him into the new Drogba, I honestly do. Maybe with less creativity for others, but in terms of pace, power, ability to make space and so on, he's got all the assets. Remember Drogba didn't come good in a big league until he was 25. And that was the French league. Vic's only 22. Yes, he's not bloomed as quick as we thought he might, but he's been unlucky with injuries.

Do you mean he's a different kind of player as in he's a better player?

No, he's a centre forward, not a winger.

He's meant to be, anyway. Although his best performances have been on the wing...

But anyway, they're different in that Landon's more of a creator, and more about pace. Vic works defences in a different way.

If we could only have one I would pick Vic, make no mistake. He's not the finished article, and that's the main point, but Landon's better on the wing, and probably always will be. Vic is destined to be a CF.

We'll have to agree to agree here. I think he can play anywhere across the front, but he's best suited to 'wing forward'.

We can count on one hand how many really good games Vic has had for us. So I don't want to say where he's best definitively, until he's had a long spell in the team. Every time he starts to assert himself he gets injured...

I do agree he can play anywhere across the front though. Like... DROGBA! He's the new Didier. I'm tellin' ya.

I'd rather have Coleman in our side than Donovan.

Not joking either, Coleman give Stoke's fullbacks a battering today.

And and plus Coleman is a British Talent.

Thats your opinion , kid . Id rather have both , meself . Certainly the OPTION of both .

He woulda been ideal today , when Shay , in truth failed to impress to his usual standard . Landy has PACE . LOADS OF IT .

Thats his major asset and the one we happen to lack most .

But then , this is uny MY opinion , kid .

It's fun to judge early tho mate, it makes for good football chat. Drogba's a bit [Poor language removed] out wide to be honest. Victor's more of a Dirk Kuyt/Nicklas Bendtner character.

I think Drogba's good anywhere, to be honest. But I was referring more to him switching it up mid-game, rather than starting out wide.

And I really hope Vic can aspire to be better than a workhorse and a usually-useless lump.
