No mate, I don't think it does.I have a bottle of Glenfiddic single malt was a gift in 1988, has it any extra value ? Just wondering like.
Just enjoy it, although Glenfiddich isn't my favourite malt.

Looks nice. Dare I ask the price?

I love Lagavulin. The 16 year old is ace, but I had a cask strength bottle (?12 yo) ten years ago and it was fantastic. Unusually, it was a lot smoother than the older variety (the longer a malt is in the cask, and therefore the older it is, the smoother it generally becomes).Had a 10cl bottle of the 25 yo once, it was excellent, and am drinking the 16yo I got for my birthday from the wife a couple of days ago tonight. Absolutely cracking whisky, comparable to Ardbeg Uigeadail for me.
Have you actually tried that one or have you just posted it 'cos you reckon it'd be ace?

Lucky you!Had a small sample bottle (cost about £130!!). It is ace, very ace. The missus gets me a bottle of the 16 year old for birthdays etc, think I might have an uphill struggle getting an upgrade to the 37 yr old though (about 2k a bottle as said before). Tight cow!
