Single malts

Just to let lads in the Merseyside area know, in Liverpool One there's one of those Harvey Nichols food shops. They're doing a few malts, one of them being Oban, Distillers Choice.

I've had one of these before, and it's indescribably good. I advise you to get one, I've got mine in for when I finish work on Sunday afternoon.

Just letting people in the north west know, Booths in Knutsford have many offers on malts this week, just picked up an Old Pultney and a Highland Park for £20 each.

That's worth a short trip just past Ikea.

Right lads Love Jamesons, but can't stand JD so what would you recommend?? Im going to Tesco this week and i'm going to treat myself to a good bottle for Crimbo..

If it's a blend you're after, go for Black Bottle if you can find it. Otherwise, Famous Grouse is ok.

A good starting point in single malts Glenmorangie. Swerve the JD mate.

Cheers Groucho, not to keen on grouse, want something that tastes expensive, if you know what I mean ?? Not sure I even do !?....

Anyone ever had a whisky called Paddy's? It's a triple distilled Irish whisky, bought it for my dad but he prefers single malts so not sure.
