I know it's not malt. This is as much as I can get into, asdas own label £13 and it's lovely

goes well in a summer cocktail that - double one of them, double disaronno, half fill the glass with ginger beer and top off with lemonade and a splash of lime
dead refreshing over ice

I drank two thirds of a bottle of Glen Moray last night.

Sorry, I can't remember what it tasted like so can't leave a review, but thought I'd join the thread anyway.

finished the Bushmills single malt i got from me other half's mar...was smooth but a bit bland, much like Glenfiddich.

Looking for a Laphroaig alternative: that musty peaty strong taste that makes you go "aaaaah" after a good sip.

What's your tip? Would also consider japanese if there's an affordable one that fits the description.

Depends how much you want to spend. Lagavulin is a nice smokey one. Caol Ila is a bit tamer and similar to Talisker but both are a nice drink. If you're pure loaded get a bottle of Octomore from Bruichladdich.
