Just the 12
I weighed up getting the Royal Salute last month before choosing the Oban Distillers Edition. Very curious...

Absolutely loving it. Pure class. Summer here at the moment so am drinking more refreshing Vodka to change things up a little.
But am already thinking to where does one go in a quality purchase after the Oban?
Bunnahabhain? Which ones are the finest?
The 18 is excellent, but the 12 is widely available and very good.
Although Islay, it's not peated.
