Around that price I'd look no further than Ardbeg Uigeadail, myself, although it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Oban 14 is a superb drop, too.

Bought it in the duty free, nice drop.

Had a cracking Talisker last night.

I'm enjoying a Talisker storm right now actually. Very nice it is too.

Had a Yamazaki 12yr last week in a great pub in Ormskirk. Really lovely drop.

I'm not a great one on Famous grouse but it was/has been Glenturret/Highland Park and Macallan but could well be different nowadays.

Glenturret is the main one I know, wasn't sure of the rest.

Mate of mine came back from a work trip yesterday and picked me up a bottle of Glenfarclas 15 year old. Really enjoyed it so far, not had it before and was pleasantly surprised. Would recommend if anybody comes across it. Not too peaty and a little sweeter than your normal whisky.

I've had that - it's ace.

I must admit my first time and very impressed, will have to put an order in for when my mate goes back to work. Its a very easy to drink Whisky

Also had the 18 and 21 year olds (I think they're the correct ages).

All round excellent range.

I enjoyed it too - not sure of the identity of the Islay malt though.

I dont know for sure but the producers of Grouse own Bunnahabhain. there is a chance it could be that?

Yes, almost certainly Bunnahabhain - the Northern distilleries on Islay produce a much milder lighter flavoured whisky than say for example, Laphroaig or Lagavulin. I think you will find some Bowmore (owned by Suntory) in there too.

I had a 16yo in 2003 but haven't seen it since. Got it in Dundee, it was sublime. The 16yo, not Dundee.
