Smells a bit like a bourbon, and has an initial kick of sweetness similar to. Chocolatey stout then shines through. Alright.

Decanted some leftover Springbank 10YO and Longrow together and let them rest for a good 6 months...had first sip last night; solid.

What’s the consensus on this one?

I only got it because it was on offer in tesco. £19 a bottle.

Left my good whiskey at home so just wanted something cheap and easy for today.

Are they any good? I think I tried one ages a go when everyone was raving about Aldi whiskeys and I don't think I was impressed..

Decent drop for the price mate.

Nothing special but I'd rather drop 20 quid on that than other well known brands at similar price.

I'm going to try the Islay when I get paid but the speyside won't set you wrong for the price.

Y'know, I actually didn't - the smell was so rich I wanted to give it a sip straight (and I do mean sip!).

It's delicious mate, lots of raisiny Christmas cake type stuff going on, cinnamon, toffee, bit of oak but with that typical whiff of sea salt that all bunna's tend to carry.

Really great scotch, it'll last me years as well, its a real depths of winter dram, and then only occasional.
