Second half commentary, amazing how much you forget,I was lucky I think I missed no more than four games that season and one was Charlton at home cos I was at a wedding in London,it was cheaper then and my eldest rs brother had a slummy jar full to the brim with 50p's and 20p's, he hates the blues and yet paid for me to travel everywhere during the years 1985-1988Ha, Jim Melrose, that's a blast from the past. Obviously as a kid I didn't go to any aways, but would always listen to Radio City's 2nd half commentary (another funny thing, they could never do commentary for the full game in those days for contractual reasons - bizarre!) and I remember cursing that name!
Norwich away, just been chatting to my mate, hard to believe we took a crate of warm Newcastle brown from his garage onto the coach and no one even blinked(normal in them days)loved football in the 80s,8 hours on the way home and no one cared
