Completely unrealistic price tag, if true.

Indeed.

Today's front page. Chelsea's initial price tag of £25m for De Bruyne all around. Wolfsburg willing to pay £17m #cfc

He cant hack it in the best League in the world so wants to go and join a mickey mouse club in a mickey mouse league, sad to see.

waits

Think its more of he's in the boat with Mata as not a Mourinho type player mate, god knows why like, and with the wrold cup looming he wants to go a place where he knows he will get the games to stay in the Belgium starting line up, pretty sure Bobby could convince him to come here if we had the deal in place, 25m sounds like the idiot press though, 12m and addons sell ons etc is much more realistic, but probably out our price range without sales

If the 17m was inclusive of certain addons mate, sell on clause, international games, winning pots, european qualifications, league goals, starts made etc, then its a fair shout as long as the initial fee was more around the 10-12m mark

Its the type of signing we have to make as the impact would be huge on the entire squad and the ambition shown to really push on as a club

They only bought him for £7 million so they probably would let go for £10 million.

Exactly. Whoever wrote that piece about Chelsea wanting £25m must of been off his t!ts!.

They may want double, £15m maybe. But he's worth it, cracking player.

You honestly think we have 17m?

I doubt we have 17p.

We should have some money but it'll probably be closer to £5m, which is an utter scandal since we've still got over £10m left from Fellaini, but I can't be arsed to fume about it.

Totlly agree mate, having a core of him, mccarthy, stones, barkley, mirrales, coleman all between 19 and 26 would set us up for years to come

Yeah he'd be a great addition, no doubt about that.

Bill the Kopite has been saving up all the transfer income from the negative spends, and added it to the TV income. We're about to blow this transfer window apart lads.

Well as the last 3 years we have a minus net spend of 25m, then theres the new TV Deal which is worth at LEAST an extra 30m a Season, so thats 55m in excess revenue that has simply gone *poof*.

Once Bobby flashes the puppy-dog eyes at them, even the most mercenary of South Americans forgets all about the vulgar business of money and clauses and advice of agents.
