Show of anger to the players

Just boo them next week. Boo Sigurdsson every time he gets the ball.
This 100%. Time and time again managers pick him. They need to be shown that we don’t want him. The management needs to be told NO MORE! We don’t want him playing. They won’t learn any other way...

The players in my view don’t care because most of them live in the Manchester area and so have no connection to fans
Years gone by players lived on Merseyside and interacted with fans in local bars and restaurants
Now they drive home to Manchester in their expensive cars and are completely detached and their gutless performances aren’t questioned
I wonder if there are any other clubs whose players live so far away from their job
I remember a former player being asked if he liked Liverpool “I don’t know he said I’ve never been there “

'They need cheering'??? This is the problem! Too many times they get let off the hook,They turn up every couple of games when they feel like, win a couple, and we take them back in like all is forgiven. They need to know how much it means us supporters, Because after that today I really don't think they give a sh*t.

Totally agree with this. Even if it is just as a public cathartic exercise.

Perhaps we know they won't be bothered but we need to draw a line somewhere.

The red-tinged media portray us manager-baiting but its the players fault mainly. Let it be known to them that the fault lays with them, they are failures as players and as people to have such little pride in themselves to continually put out such shameful performances in their jobs. Is their job at the end of the day and they are not doing it well. They'd be sacked in many lines of work by now.

Why people keep forgetting their very recent disgraceful performances is beyond me. They are forgiven when they don't deserve to be and they know this and take advantage and probably don't even care about us. We'll they need to be made care.

Stop attending matches, stop buying merchandise. Cause and effect through their pockets, the only thing they care about. Moshiri won't foot their bills endlessly.

Problem is the fans don't have the fight for that long-term and it all falls apart and we are back to square one.

It's only one form of attack but its clear something different and more effective has to be done than the usual boos one week then gone the next.

Then the players can serve their penance, come back when they've learned and show it in effort and perhaps then we can talk about forgiveness.

They'll turn up for the next league game and put in a spirited display. See Chelsea at home recently and many other examples going back the last 15 years or so.

And this will all happen again.

that’s the thing it’s rinse and repeat again and again

needs to be a huge clear out

the silence from the club is deafening though

This is where my ability to comprehend our failure in this fixture breaks down.

Haven't we had a "clear out" recently? Our squad has changed enormously in the last few years. We've had a managerial merry-go-round spanning the entire period since Moyes left. We have a new owner. And yet the exact same problem remains. It's bizarre.

You're correct that a lot of them don't live in the area but the same can be said with Liverpool players and they seem to have a connection with the fans.

A poll should be setup to choose the posters who will be put forward to bum the players who make no effort.

So if anyone fancies bumming Delph, Sigurdsson and Schneiderlin you could be in luck.

Another bumming for Coleman and Walcott as they were dreadful.

I think that would also be a first for a football team...

we’re still suffering from the Koeman/Walsh era where we bought a load of guff and are struggling to shift it.

most of those signings with Walcott, Tosun need to be moved on desperately but who will take them ?

our midfield is utter garbage and the fact that Tosun is our best finisher and he can’t get in the side cause his gash says it all

poor scouting and recruiting has caused this all
