Wasn't he not good enough for Fulham? Or extremely crap when he played for them at least? He's been going downhill since 2010.
He was indeed pretty crap at Fulham and admitted so as well; mind you pretty anyone playing at Fulham last season looked crap so....

The person who created this thread put him in the poll so the author viewed Him as a possibility. Not only that but some rumours do pan out. You ought to read my post again and the other person who quoted it, where did | say I believe the rumour, get your facts rigbt and stop misrepresenting comments.

It was a hypothetical answer and i didn't believe you believed it that why I started the sentence of with "If". I don't understand why you got so offended by that

Voted for Begovic.

I saw Southall play in his prime; getting the very best goalkeeper you can is a vital part of building a winning team. If he costs money, so be it.

1) Sign Begovic for money, bring in a CB and a RW on loan.

2) Tap up Winston Reid and Fabian Delph ferociously, with the lure of Europa League football, to make them demand moves and sign for us in January.

3) Sell / give away Gibson and Alcaraz.

4) Win Europa league and finish around 9th.

5) Click "save game".

For a team with limited funds and few options for immediate change, replacing Howard (or Robles) is one of the worst, most knee-jerk responses I've seen.

Watching the match yesterday, I'd say the defence have zero faith in Robles, which is quite scary really. We ( mostly ) all think he's gash based on the little we've seen of him, but they see him in training every day.

I don't know if Butland is that good tbh? Begovic is a good GK but I saw him when we played Stoke and he looked dicey. How does Sirigu sound?

Oh for a Nigel Martyn type available for £250k.

Remember the days when the man in charge could be trusted like he was bartering with his first born sons life? FML!

Won't disagree with this, but with so many problems in the way this side is playing there's little guarantee a new keeper will prevent goals. And playing better should prevent goal scoring opportunities. Everton look like a side that needs a new keeper, but getting a new keeper itself is not the solution.
