Sure could. He added astutely but Martinez is certainly still reaping the benefits of Moyes' transfer abilities. Even Oviedo - well under £2m quid and has been brilliant last couple of games.

Moyes' eye for a defender was just unparalleled. Coleman £60k, Oviedo £1.2m, Baines £5m, Lescott £5.5m, Jagielka £4m...

Seems a good player, definately would of been worth adding to the squad IMO. Certainly wouldn't of been starting every week tho up against Barry and McCarthy who are both class. With gibbo injured would of come in handy for rotation.

Anyways not really a problem, can pick him up in summer if needs be after Norwich are relagated.

He has looked ok but not as good I as expected. He was hopeless against Liverpool on Wednesday, and has seemed a bit lazy and allowed his man to get free on quite a few goals I have seen Norwich concede.

I expect us to add a midfielder in January. A younger version of Barry is required to ease the burden of him playing every game.
