should they cancel the lap of honour?

The danger of not cheering our steadfast lads off the pitch is that they might get the ‘ump and down tools next season. Our indomitable lads are pretty quick to take offence and must be handled carefully and always be made to feel special.
I hope the whole of Goodison gives our brave lads a raucous send-off and perhaps even have a whip around for donations to present to our lion hearted lads. Hopefully if we can convince them that we are really grateful to have such skilled and intrepid players represent us, they might choose to occasionally put a shift in next season. The last thing we should do is criticise our fearless lads...what a season they’ve given us...we are so lucky.

The main reason we don't get near trophies is due to standard of players at the club and the acceptance of mediocrity as the norm, not because of the fans Sam. Obviously he wasn't here for the cup run of 2009 and the fantastic backing in the Europa League (10000 fans to Lille). But evertonians like most supporters require hope. The failed regime of Koeman and Walsh and the dire tactics deployed by allardayce has sucked all the hope and expectation out of the club and created the biggest disenchantment I've known from the fan base in my lifetime watching the blues.

If Moshiri and especially Bill can't take the message from the empty ground for the walk around, we have no chance of changing anything.
