I find its best to just find decent journalists who seem honest and reliable on twitter, and get my news there. No point reading any paper or buying one cause they all print guff from time to time.

Frankly, I'm proud of Everton. I know they informed them yesterday, but it's seemingly more...meaningful and symbolic to announce it today.

It shouldn't overshadow the day. We all know that.

But McKenzie and the S*n knew what and more precisely WHEN they were publishing that article and that they intended to achieve most hurt in doing so.

It's symbolic in that it shows that when you attack a city, the city unites. And today of all days, that's an immense source of pride for me.

And that's from a guy who is born and bred in the North East and has only - unfortunately - had the opportunity to visit your delightful city maybe seven or eight times in his life thus far.

I hope you're all proud today and I'll make sure people up here know the truth of why this step was taken by our club.
