I dont mean to jump on the back of the one-off win on Saturday, but unless we get a manager who is the type who will really turn things around quickly, what's the harm in sticking with him till Summer
If he's survived 4 managers as assistant, he's either good as an assistant, or he's not, and what if he's actually a much better manager than he was a player. IT seems like if he doesn't get the end of the season job now, he'll never be a manager anywhere.

we are close to %40 now with the yes votes, public is getting warmed up to the idea, good.

The more I think about it, the more I would like to give him a run. He has 2 stinkers in United away and Leicester in the cup which require a bit more of the same as we saw on Saturday. I'd be happy to see that against them so would not be upset if he had the next 2 games.

If we saw a little guile thrown into the mix ... I'd not be adverse to a longer time in charge. He's not Simeone, but he has that hardness about him that I want in the Everton manager. He's far from the job at the moment, but if he keeps getting results and no one else is in the running, why not keep him in charge.

I've finally made my mind up on this poll, keep him till summer, and see how things are going, we are not going to get relegated and we're not going to crash the top 4, and there is no manager being mentioned that will get Goodison rocking like it was V Chelsea, that does rub off on the players every one of them upped their game even Schneiderlin looked much better. Leave Dunc in it's just crazy enough to work.

lol

People bricking it over getting Moyes in and wanting to hurtle over a cliff with a coach with no managerial experience in a season we need to get through and avoid relegation.

Just no.

I am 100% convinced that there is no team in the PL that would have came away with anything from Goodison last week in Dunc's first game, he's earned a second game in charge a result away to United and there should be no doubts about him staying on until a good realistic option becomes available, under Ferguson we won't be relegated we'll win the majority of home games, and with the no nonsense 4-4-2 I would expect to see an improvement away too.

He hasn't coached a game yet mate. Not one. Bt you'd hand our existence as a PL club over to him.

Why do we have to let him have the side until end of season? Or announce anything? Can't we just continue on as is until we find someone suitable? Arsenal sacked Emery before we sacked Silva and they still have an interim manager. There's no risk to doing this, just biding our time. In theory, playing a spirited old school 4-4-2 should keep us grabbing enough points to stay comfortably out of a relegation battle while we look for a manager to take us forward.

Yeah some want to rush into it, i know Spurs did but they 100% had Jose first, Everton dont plan ahead like that, no reason why Dunc cant have 3 or 4 games

Our players are better than they have been playing, we have alot of confidence players probably too many who'll turn to $hit with the crowd on their backs, I don't care who the manager is, we could have the best manager in the world but if goodison is not cooperating the players will be gash, as far as I can see Ferguson nullifies that aspect, our players need confidence and they need the fans all the experience as a manager doesn't guarantee that.
