Great day and love Big Dunc but reality should be that he gets a few games in charge and gives the club time to get a good long-term manager with credentials in. Having said that I'd love nothing more than Dunc to go off and prove himself as a manager somewhere, learn the job properly and one day come back and manage us if he shows that he can do the no. 1 job.

I voted yes, based only on today...however in reality, id give him United and Leicester.

United is away and another free hit really + leicester in the cup we need Goodison getting behind the team.

Lets see how we do in those 2 games.

At least on his first game he achieved 3 things that silva could not do, play someone along side DCL (DCL isn’t good enough, up there on his own) and got Snides and Sigs to run. I haven’t enjoyed an Everton game like that for years. Duncan running down the touch line capped it, what evertonian couldn't love the man. I think give him until jan then decide the best move, I think he deserves that.

%36,6 still much better than I thought. He will stil get two more matches IMO at least.

That’s the thing if he went off for a year, like Lampard did at Derby, they would work better all round I think. But Dunc deserves a few more games, if he was to win them all, it would be hard to not give him more time, let’s just see one at a time atm. ATM we have the luxury of that.

Are we serious about winning a trophy or aren't we?

Get the (right) man in early next week so he's got some time with the players before United and Leicester in the cup.

Today was great, but it was mostly blood and thunder, probably not sustainable. Need some proper strategy, still, to improve in the league and advance in the cup.
