noticing the emotion and activity on this thread and similar comments on other forums - this topic certainly needs more debating and not less - calling each other names and trying to kill the thread will only highten the frustration experienced by a large number of fans - where there is smoke there usually is a fire the old folks used to say -
this should not turn into a you against us battle but should seriously determine to what extent bad and inconsistant decisions by match officials led to disappointing results , dashed hopes and a downward spiral on the table -
coaches might lose their jobs , players may be sold and sides can be relegated on something silly like goal difference at the end of a season - so every goal counts -
every possible effort should be made to get to the right decision - if that requires the introduction of technology then so be it -
in the tough competitive world of professional sport nice guys come second - money is a [Poor language removed] - and human error must be eliminated especially if it is not governed by the law of averages - (eg a loaded dice )
we are not only fighting for Everton to get a fair deal - we want it for every club - the playing field should be level for ALL - not downhill for some and uphill for others -
i also think West Brom played uphill againt Stoke yesterday with quite a few dodgy decisions going against them - to such an extent that even the commentators started laughing about it at some stage
