Sharpy’s return

This. Absolutely. Nails. It.

A playing career those who watched will be grateful for. To everyone afterwards he looks disloyal. BK wasn't anything to do with Everton when Sharp was successful, allowed himself to be easily misled by a poor Chairman and Owner
Sharp wasn't the only one who was misled/blagged/bullshitted by Bill, the majority of the fanbase was at one stage, still remember the time his grid was on the screen and he got a big cheer after the blue union march, think it was villa, remember I was fuming ha

Sharp described that protest as “one man his dog” he’s a arsehole has been for years

I read the title of the forum post and my immediate reaction was it's worked a treat with Gana. I can kind of see it with Richarlison. Rooney was finished, but Sharp??? Surely not. It'slike George Foreman and then some.

It's about separating the art from the artist.
He was my favourite player as a very young blue, now, I can't stand the man.
Complicit in attacking the fans during headlock gate and denigrated us for years before that across radio and the papers.
Playing legend but a ball bag of a man and is not deserving of our adoration.
I don't care if he goes the game or not, if I saw him walking down Goodison Road I'd ignore him.

His status as one of the stars of the 80s glory teams is never going to be in doubt.

But that shouldn't mean an accomplice in the Kenwright years of managed decline gets a free pass to redemption.

He knows what he has to do to earn that. But I think he's the type of arrogant character that'll never clear his throat and ask for forgiveness...and if he ever did it'd be along the lines of a non-apology apology.

Great player and great servant of the club on the pitch; just a wrongun in every other way.

No way back IMO.

Don't really care if he watches us or not.
Great player, but just another flunky/apologist for a terrible time in the club's history.
Where was he when Southall/Stubbs were shunned from Goodison for criticising the board?

Taking his wages and hospitality perks in the boardroom and keeping his trap shut; and before that a salary for being (laughably) 'fans liason officer' - which he thought was the opportunity to slag fans off.

(Stubbs also got his snout in the trough though over Rooney's sale.)
