His status as one of the stars of the 80s glory teams is never going to be in doubt.

But that shouldn't mean an accomplice in the Kenwright years of managed decline gets a free pass to redemption.

He knows what he has to do to earn that. But I think he's the type of arrogant character that'll never clear his throat and ask for forgiveness...and if he ever did it'd be along the lines of a non-apology apology.

Great player and great servant of the club on the pitch; just a wrongun in every other way.
