How does being out on loan and then being injured speak volumes?
Because he was sent out on loan twice rather than brought into the squad. He's now got about 8 players ahead of him in his position. I'll be surprised if he makes an appearance for us.

What? We signed him in January and left him at his club. We sent him on loan in the summer as we've done with tons of our youngsters. He's now back but out injured.

Doesn't speak volumes it just says we're treating him how we do most of our youth players.

He's 22 and has never been considered good enough for our squad. It's not impossible for him to get fit, find form and break into the squad but considering the number of players ahead of him in his position it's very unlikely.

Watching the Swiss national team today made me think, what's happened to this guy?

He's good enough to have already represented a very good Swiss side at the age of 21, yet as far as I'm aware he hasn't been loaned out this season, and he hasn't played for the Under-23's. I know his loan spell at Frankfurt last season, by all accounts seemed to be a bit of a disaster. Is he injured?
