The big worry for me if Moshiri might see Europa qualification as a reason to keep Silva.

7th and Europa is a decent return for the first season IMO.

I would be happy enough to give him till Xmas if he could get 7th or 8th.

I was wondering if a seventh place finish would be good enough to make Europa this year? It seems very feasible we could finish in this spot if we can play up to par going forward. I know I am being optimistic, but still.

Honestly, the level of Latin on here is shocking.

I don’t get the complaining about Europa league. OK, the qualifiers aren’t ideal, but the standard of team is usually not great. The group stages can mean lots of games, but not much different to CL group stages.

Get through that & get in the knockout stages. That’s what it’s all about.

If we want to be successful, we have to start somewhere.

Its grim, the last run was shocking, im not convinced it makes the league form worse as were crap now without that excuse, but it really cant help. Besides i fear it will make us feeling like bolstering the squad with loads of crap players to cover the extra games. We need less players, meaning less games

Agreed last run was demoralising. Koeman had clearly lost the dressing room. Scraping past the might of Ruzumberok & getting humiliated by Atalanta, but we were equally crap in the league as you say.

Brands signings have been better than Koeman’s crap so far & this window demonstrated he’s not going to make panic buys.

I really hope we can get 7th & a Europa place & hope that we’ll have the right targets lined up for the summer.

I would say we have no chance, really tough home fixtures and no away game is straight forward to us.

Said it before plenty of pros and cons about being in Europa League but I don't think even a convincing win against Wolves would give anyone that much room for optimism.
