I remember well James Vaughn's goal, he beat the Rooney age to wipe Rooney off our record books. They were all trying to give him the ball to give him the record. Goal number 4 in a 4-0 vs Palace I believe?
I saw him leaving the ground from the main reception on Goodison Road, went up to try and get my match program signed by him, wasn't allowed near, said "this program could be worth a lot in a few years you know!". Turns out it would have been worth buttons, but it still annoys me!
