Set pieces with Baines out?

Having thought long and hard about the above, I see where Elong's coming from and would like to give Jelavic another crack of the whip. He's shown us all what he's capable of in the right conditions and maybe few tap-in's might help him remember what the game's all about. Maybe we should rest Lukaku for a bit and try it out, he also won a lot of defensive headers for us last year too...

I ain't wrote Jelavic off yet. I've gave him a lot of time mind you.

I know I said some stuff above, and stand by every word, honestly, but we've got loads of options really, and it would be good in a way for us to strengthen our depth of takers over the next few weeks. It's not like Mikel's coming back to take the corners like.

I agree. I've always been of the opinion that left footers should take set-pieces from the right, and vice-versa..

It's good imo to have both to perplex keeper and wall, but yea, sometimes Bainsey just crosses from the left, and sometimes it works, but now we haven't got him, let's see what everyone else has to offer.

Most free kicks have had Baines and Mirallas over the ball, usually Baines gets the nod but without him I assume Kev is the main free kick taker unless it's a bit further out and needs a powerful shot from Lukaku.

Barry takes excellent penalties. Lakaku Miralass and Delefoe can take free kicks and No doubt "Ross the Boss" can do both with his eyes shut!

We'v also got pirlo on the bench!
