No, I've just said it's not his fault as it's not a game for the strikers - Giroud has suffered in the same way - but I will maintain regardless that he wasn't going to have a good game here. Because that's been his career - the odd 9/10 beast mode performance bookended by multiple 3/10 performances.

I get you are a fanboy of him but you can't just say every game he has is a good game and disregard the evidence to the contrary.

This is absolutely not a 3/10 performance and I can't remember the last time he had one. He certainly hasn't had one today. He's just nailed yet another lay-off and has brought his team mates into play well. It's not going to be a game for the highlight reel and you can't exactly give him a 9/10 for it, but this is just about as well as he could have done given the circumstances.
