Calls for Capt Jags' inclusion in the next England team are perhaps a little Everton-centric. Yes, he's a great leader of men, but is that quality on its own enough to merit a starting position? Maybe, but other clubs' supporters might harbour doubts.
Anyway, it's all moot anyway as I doubt Southgate will select anybody who has a reputation of being a snide manager back-stabber.

But we took a lot longer to choke and we at least didn’t do it against the awful teams.

I’ll class that as a significant improvement lol
 
The 'Ye Olde England' shop here in Auckland (where poms can buy products from Ol' Blighty that they miss), has been playing 'It's coming home' all week, along with another little ditty with a chorus "the English, the English, the English are best, I wouldn't give tuppence for all of the rest". I imagine sales have done well all week lol
