You have to have the right time going out but you can travelback any time in the next month, so if you chose to go up at 8, so you could get the atmosphere, you could easily do so, then just get the train back after the match. Looking at the Schedule for that day, Norwich Vs. City is on Sky at 1245, and Espn don't have a game that day, so yer it's likely to be a 5.30 ko it looks like!

They're gonna have to put on more trains, it says the latest one back to lime street is 20:11, I'm sure Virgin Trains have thought about this.

How does this yank get a ticket with the supporters? My mate will be in the UK and is bothering me to find him a ticket.

sloercher[at]bh-ba[.]com with any suggestions.

I HIGHLY doubt that it will be an early kick off. They won't want the games to clash with PL matches and it would be a travel nightmare if it was at 12 45.

Like they will give a fck about travel.

I really wanna stay down the Fri and Sat night, dunno why, maybe cos it will be like a holiday for me!

I'm coming via train. I see no problem whatsoever with this plan.

"The Service from Grand Central Station to London Euston will terminate at Manhattan due to water on the tracks, an alternate service with Cunard will be available but will incur a supplement."

Well they gave us and the mancs a late sunday one last time, you cant get much worse as far as train travel is concerned.

Train..... wary of what happened at Carling Cup Final.
Nat. Express..... no direct services that day..... YET.
Travel Club....... Have to hike into L'pool to depart, faffin' around will add considerable time.

I shall be with a kid so won't be getting lashed, the Fiesta running on Intense tanning oil is looking a good option at the moment.
400 mile round trip, 75mpg (ish), certainly the cheapest although Eavesway may provide the best option if doing a coach direct from their depot as it would be about the same price without the hassle, if it has to go to Goodison to pick anyone up though it just adds too much time cos by the time it goes there and then back down to the motorway I could be over half way there.
