Sell Heitinga, invest up front/wide

Hibbert and Neville must be both goosed. I cant imagine scarce money being put into that position otherwise.

Or more to the point it confirms Coleman is only playing due to them being injured and he wants to get a right back in who craps himself every time he crosses the half way line.

Or maybe, just maybe he's seen the impact Coleman has had but wants a more experienced but similarly attacking type in.

Maybe.

Or he thinks Coleman is better off further up the pitch.

I cant see the urgency for a RB this window. We have much pressing matters elsewhere.

Yeah could be, i wouldn't be against getting a better more experienced rb than coleman in but as you say, we have far far more important areas that need strengthening.

But you know how it is in football, you should always be aware of the players you want and keep an eye on who's available because you might only get 1 chance to sign them up.

I wouldn't argue with an accomplished RB who's a defo up-and-running, straight off the shelf improvement on Coleman. I think that'll cost a lot of money though.

love how it's always players who get read about in 'rumours' that get mentioned as replacements for players without having actually ever seeing them haha

Personally I would sell Heitinga, Distin really doesn't look like he's getting slow and he's our naturally left footed CB, his physical attributes are second to none and adds height in a small defence. We also have Shane Duffy coming through who has had spectacular performances and if necessary Neville and Hibbo can fill in when needed, with Lescott on hand I really would sell Heitinga 6-8m loan Lego head till the end of the season. And with the little money that Moyes has now, guessing 3-5m he will have 10-15m to play with. Seems a bit bang on the money that the two French lads Grameiro and Yedder cost exactly that hmmmmm :dodgy:. Even if we dont get them that money is gold dust for us and I'm sure we could add a quality forward/winger for that.(y)

That saying our Moysey is a sniper in the loan-buy market to and players probably available for loan will be;

Premier League;

Daniel Sturridge
Lego head
Nani
Arshavin
Malouda
would of loved Lukaku

World Football;

Odjija Ofoe
Lewis Holtby

Any Recommendations?

Its a fickle business is football.

Dont bring Lescott back as he left us a few seasons ago for stupid money and the chance of medals. Sell Heitinga who was our best player last season because he has had a couple of poor games and is a ****house for not killing Gerrard a few seasons back.

We bought Heitinga for £6m. Since then he's gotten older and he's not set the world alight. I'm not sure why anybody thinks he'll cost more than £5m or so.

agreed, we'd be lucky to get 5m for him except in a trade of sorts. I know he was never the quickest but he's looking well off the pace at the moment too

'a couple of poor games'...

Come on mate, he has had more than a couple of bad games. Hasnt played well once all season, he has played 14 games this season, played ****e in every one of them.

And was quality last season. Jagielka had a similar run and thankfully we didnt get rid of him.

I just think its quite amusing that people get all annoyed about how footballers treat the fans when the fans treat the footballers just as badly.

If we're talking long term investing, Yassine Benzia is a name sure to be on the rise in coming years. 18 year old French striker, currently at Lyon. Promising at the France International youth levels, and already scoring goals. Take look at him on youtube
